Criteria

For Book

If I am to judge a RPG adventure or even system, I shall adjudicate thusly:
1 Was it simple to parse the information given?
2 Is it cool?
3 Does it contain content that I want to use?*
*this can be rules, monsters, or even just the entire adventure.

For Film

If I am to judge film, than I will follow the Joe Bob Briggs School of Quality: Does it contain at least 2 out of the following 3:
1 Blood
2 Breasts
3 Beasts

In the case of driving movies, that is truckersploitation, vansploitation, and hot rod movies, Blood, Breasts, and Beasts are to be replaced with the non-alliterative
1 Bar Fights
2 Diners
3 Sick Custom Rides.

If a product contains at least 2 of the 3 given criteria, then it is “good.” If I enjoy it, it will receive a Seal of Approval, graded in amount of thumbs up. This allows for products which are technically competent by way of their inclusion of titillation but failed to impress me, earning both a pass of quality and a lack of Thumbs Up Seal of Approval.

The Thumbs Up Seal of Approval typically only involves two thumbs but in the case of films about multi-armed aliens or primates who possess opposable thumbs on their feet, additional thumbs may be added. A thumb can be “up” or “way up.”
